Unwind Wednesdays Return To St. Charles In July
The St. Charles Business Alliance is hosting the festivities, which will be held on July 16 and August 13 on the 1st Street Plaza.

ST. CHARLES, IL — Unwind Wednesday will get underway in the coming weeks in St. Charles
The St. Charles Business Alliance is hosting the festivities, which will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on July 16 and August 13 on the 1st Street Plaza, according to a news release from the St. Charles Business Alliance.
There will be music and beverages available for purchase from the following businesses:

- Alter Brewing + Kitchen
- Gia Mia
- La Mesa Modern Mexican
- La Za’Za’ Trattoria
- McNally’s Irish Pub & Kitchen
Those wishing to purchase a drink can stop by one of the businesses and present valid identification to receive a wristband. Once a wristband is received, individuals will then be able to purchase a beverage that they can enjoy on the 1st Street Plaza while listening to Connie Cipher and Michael McInerney on July 16 and Dennis O’Brien on Aug 13, according to the news release.
Jenna Sawicki, the executive director for the St. Charles Business Alliance, is looking forward to continuing this community event.

“The first Unwind Wednesday was a great success,” Sawicki said. “It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the live music, the atmosphere, and supporting our local businesses. We’re looking forward to seeing this event continue to grow with these additional dates.”
Unwind Wednesday is open to guests of all ages, but only those 21 years old and older may consume alcoholic beverages, according to the news release.
Organizers said that all drinks and attendees must stay within the designated event boundaries on the 1st Street Plaza, and any outside alcohol will not allowed.
