Wahlburgers Restaurant to Break Ground Friday in St. Charles
A groundbreaking at the new location will take place Friday, March 22 with Mayor Rogina and Donnie Wahlberg.

ST. CHARLES, IL — St. Charles is about to get a new spot on the block for burgers. International Executive Chef Paul Wahlberg and superstar brothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg are bringing Wahlburgers to St. Charles. On March 22, Mayor Raymond Rogina and Donnie Wahlberg will break ground at the new Wahlburgers spot, in the southwest corner of Route 38 and Randall Road in the Meijer lot, according to a release.
The brothers' burger business concept, founded in Hingham, Massachusetts in 2011, is the center of an A&E reality show of the same name, and offers a "fun, casual music filled atmosphere where guests, like family, share great food, a few laughs and lots of love," according to a release sent to Patch.
Throughout the restaurant's 30 locations in North America, guests enjoy delicious fresh ground beef burgers, signature sandwiches, and other items including crispy fries, onion rings, tater tots, salads, specialty frappes, beer and cocktails. In addition, Wahlburgers launched an at-home retail beef product last year, which is sold in hundreds of stores throughout the U.S., according to a release.
