Walk In Woods Day Camps Get Underway Soon
The Forest Preserve District of Kane County hosts the program.

From Forest Preserve District of Kane County: Send your child on an outdoor adventure with the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, during “Week in the Woods” summer day camps.
Explore the woods and fields during five-day nature camps, for kids entering 1st through sixth grades. Forest Preserve District naturalists will lead activities based on a different nature theme, each day. Your child will learn about native animals and plants in their habitats, the web of life and lots more!
Two weeks of “Week in the Woods” are offered: Monday, June 11 - Friday, June 15 and Monday, July 9 - Friday, July 13. Both weeks take place at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve. You can register your child for one, or both weeks of camp. Nature camps are from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee is $150 per child, per week.
