Wasco Travel Baseball Tryouts Next Weekend

Wasco travel baseball is made up of volunteers that put a lot of time and effort into sportsmanship and development throughout the season, placing our organization as the top in the Fox Valley area. All season, we hear coaches and parents say how each team is consistently challenging its players and coaches to be better baseball players and community representatives; including playing tougher leagues and competition. As a result of our teams playing challenging competition, you will see our collective record of over .500 and our tournament success. Travel baseball season starts with indoor training in January and continues with outdoor practice and games/tournaments that start in late March and runs into late July. Teams usually play in a local league (consisting of 18-20 games) along with playing in 8-12 tournaments, depending on each age group. Travel Managers are responsible for developing a schedule for your team based on the ability of your players and team, while maintaining a team budget that exposes their teams to a high level of baseball training across the Fox Valley and Chicago area. Wasco Travel Baseball Tryouts are held the first weekend of August and travel managers are expected to facilitate and manage tryouts for their age levels in selecting teams for the upcoming 2016 travel season. Tryouts are closely monitored by the Wasco Board of Directors in assuring the right balance of community, competition and returning players.

Please note: Players need to attend at least one tryout time slot, but attending multiple tryout slots will allow the coaches to get a better evaluation of the player.
