Woman, 39, Charged With Attempted Murder, Accused Of Stabbing Woman: Police
Sandy Underwood, 39, has been arrested in connection with the stabbing at an apartment in St. Charles Tuesday night, police said.

ST. CHARLES, IL — A 39-year-old St. Charles woman faces attempted murder and aggravated battery charges for allegations she stabbed another woman Tuesday night at an apartment complex in St. Charles.
The St. Charles Police Department was called to the apartment building in the 100 block of Walnut Drive at about 7:50 p.m. Tuesday for the reported stabbing, according to a news release from the police department.
A woman, who was identified as Sandy Underwood, 39, told police she stabbed another woman, police said. She was detained and later taken to the Kane County Jail.

The woman who was stabbed suffered several stab wounds and was first taken to Delnor Hospital in Geneva and then airlifted to Loyola Medical Center due to the extent of her injuries, police said.
Underwood is being held at the Kane County Jail as she awaits a detention hearing. She has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated battery and two counts of domestic battery.
