Woman Dies Days After Being Hit By Car In St. Charles

ST. CHARLES, IL — A 49-year-old woman has died days after she was hit by a car in St. Charles, authorities said.

The incident happened at about 1 p.m. on Sunday in a parking lot in the 800 block of South Randall Road, according to a news release from the St. Charles Police Department. The woman, who is from Blaine, Minnesota, was taken to Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

She died days later at the hospital, police said.

The driver, a 20-year-old St. Charles resident, is cooperating with investigators.
