WHEATON, IL — Police in Wheaton are investigating a car burglary reported at DuPage County Courthouse, a theft that took place at DuPage County Fairgrounds, in addition to other incidents that were reported on the most recent crime blotter.

Car Burglarized at DuPage County Courthouse

A backpack was stolen when a car was burglarized in the parking lot of DuPage County Courthouse. Police say someone used the victim's credit card shortly after the burglary, which took place between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on June 12.

Theft Reported at DuPage County Fairgrounds

A painting was stolen from a vendor's booth at DuPage County Fairgrounds on June 8 between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Retail Theft at Jewel

Police say a man came into Jewel on Danada Square around 11 a.m. on June 11, put merchandise in a cart and left without paying.

Retail Theft at Ulta

Two women stole "multiple fragrance items" from the Ulta Store at 112 Danada Square West on June 11, according to the crime blotter. The retail theft took place around 1 p.m., police say.
