Dozens Of Drivers Ticketed During Safety Campaign In DuPage County
The safety campaign, which lasted throughout the month of July, focused on enforcing speed limits.
DUPAGE COUNTY — More than two dozen drivers were ticketed in DuPage County as part of the July safety initiative.
The DuPage County Sheriff's Office's (DCSO) efforts were part of a statewide campaign focused on enforcing speed limits to improve road safety.
The following tickets were issued in July, per a news release from DCSO.

- Speeding: 25
- Defective windshield: 1
- Distracted driving: 1
- Driving without valid insurance: 1
- Driving without valid registration: 1
- Improperly passing an emergency vehicle: 1
Police also arrested one person for driving without a valid driver's license.
