Road Closures To Take Effect For Independence Day Events In Wheaton
See how the city's Independence Day Parade and Fireworks Show will impact traffic.

WHEATON, IL — Road closures will be in effect July 3 and July 4 to accommodate Wheaton's Fourth of July Fireworks and Parade.
On July 3, motorists are advised they will experience delays for the Independence Day celebration and fireworks display, which will be held at Graf Park from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Traffic is expected in the following areas:
- North County Farm Road from Geneva Road to West Roosevelt Road
- Manchester Road from North Gables Boulevard to East Street
- On side streets in the vicinity of DuPage County Fairgrounds

The following road closures will be in effect as of 9 a.m. July 4 for the Fourth of July Parade:

- Main Street from Liberty Drive to Geneva Road
- Wesley Street from Main to Washington
- Union Avenue from West to Main Streets
- Harrison Avenue from Cross Street to Wheaton Avenue
- Hale Street between Union and Karlskoga Avenues
- Wheaton Avenue between Franklin and Front Streets
- Wesley Avenue between Hale and West Streets
- Front Street from Cross to West Street
Parking will also be restricted in parts of the downtown area and nearby. Residents are advised to look for and follow "no parking" signs.
