Road Resurfacing To Impact Parking In Parts Of Wheaton

WHEATON, IL — Crews will resurface parts of select roadways in Wheaton starting July 30. The road work will take place in three phases: July 30, Aug. 1 and Aug. 6 in different parts of the city.

Here's where the resurfacing is set to take place on each day, according to an update from the City of Wheaton.

July 30

• Brentwood Lane between Cambridge and Briarcliffe
• Kent Court between Cambridge and Sussex
• Oxford Lane between Cambridge and Nottingham
• Lancaster Lane between Butterfield and Windsor
• Challenger Court, on the cul-de-sac by Brighton Drive
• Quarter Horse Court, on the cul-de-sac by Brighton Drive
• Triple Crown Court, on the cul-de-sac by Danada Drive
• Challenger Court on the cul-de-sac by Brighton Drive
• Lucky Debonair Court, on the cul-de-sac by Danada Drive

Aug. 1

• Ashton Court between Wilmette and Glencoe Streets
• Madsen Court between Wilmette Street and Glencoe Streets
• Marion Court, on the cul-de-sac near Glencoe Street
• Wendover Lane, on the cul-de-sac near Summit Street
• Hickory Lane, between Vernon Avenue and White Oak Drive
• Vernon Avenue, between Childs and Hickory
• Maple Leaf Court, on the cul-de-sac near White Oak Drive

• White Oak Drive between Manchester Road and the cul-de-sac

During asphalt work, residents should avoid parking on the streets in the above areas between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. After the resurfacing is complete, cars should not be parked back in their driveway for about two hours, as the material can temporarily stain driveways.
