Wheaton Police Apprehend Individuals In Connection To Commercial Burglary

Two suspects were taken into custody early Wednesday morning after attempting to rob a Chick-fil-A on Loop Road.

At approximately 4:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020, officers from the Wheaton Police Department responded to an activated alarm at Chick-fil-A, 301 E. Loop Road. Upon arrival, officers encountered a commercial burglary in progress. Two suspects were taken into custody without incident.

The investigation is in progress and the identities of the suspects along with possible charges will be released when available. No individuals or officers were injured in this incident, and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
