Camper Catches Fire At Hide-A-Way Lakes: Oswego Fire District
The Oswego Fire District responded to a camper fire at the Hide-A-Way Lakes Campground on Tuesday, Nov. 26. No injuries were reported.
YORKVILLE, IL — The Oswego Fire District responded to reports of an outdoor fire at the Hide-A-Way Lakes Campground on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Firefighters were dispatched just before 2:30 p.m. and arrived at the campground to find a camper unit on fire.
The fire was extinguished quickly with no injuries reported, but the camper suffered approximately $1,000 worth of damage.
This is not the first time firefighters have been called to the Hide-A-Way Lakes Campground.
