Electronic Recycling Pickup Available For Yorkville Residents

Electronic recycling is free of charge to Yorkville residents, and can be scheduled by contacting Advanced Disposal, according to the City.

YORKVILLE, IL — Yorkville residents can now recycle electronics by scheduling a pickup with Advanced Disposal, the City announced Thursday. According to a news release from the City, electronic recycling is free of charge to residents.

To schedule a pickup date, residents must call Advanced Disposal's Customer Care number at 630-587-8282 or email them at BataviaIL@AdvancedDisposal.com. Once you contact them, Advanced Disposal will provide you with a pick-up date, according to the news release.

Residents are asked to please make sure to place your items on the curb on the day of your scheduled collection.

Program limitations, according to the City:

  • While unlimited collection is provided for the residents of Yorkville, no items will be collected from non-residents. In addition, Advanced Disposal reserves the right to limit if there is a case of abuse of the program.
  • Collection is limited to households and household material only. No items from businesses are allowed.
  • Curbside collection only. All items must be placed on the curb in order to be collected.
  • Extremely big or hard to handle items may lead to charges to the resident.
