  1. The City of Lafayette is seeking volunteers for this Saturday's Clean Sweep from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Volunteers will meet at the Columbian Park Shelter by Tropicanoe Cove for orientation and supplies. This event is open to the public, and volunteers will be provided with gloves, bags for trash and recycling, and a free t-shirt. To sign up, contact the Lafayette City Clerk's Office at 765-807-1021 or email clerks@lafayette.in.gov. (WLFI)
  2. Lafayette police have arrested one person after shots were fired in the Lafayette Pavillions. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon near the Old National Bank. Terrence Howard, a 21-year-old from Indianapolis, was arrested the same afternoon. He has been charged with pointing a firearm and criminal recklessness with a firearm. Lafayette police said there were no reported injuries from the incident. (WLFI)
