Lynn Schaffer Named Associate Executive Director at Tallgrass Creek

Tallgrass Creek, a continuing care retirement community developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, has named Lynn Schaffer as its new associate executive director. In this role, Lynn will support critical management and operations for the scenic 65-acre community in Overland Park, Kansas.

“Lynn is an experienced leader whose passion and knowledge foster a dynamic work culture and outstanding results,” said Melinda Dechert, vice president of regional operations at Erickson Senior Living. “Her dedication to enhancing the resident experience will be instrumental in maintaining Tallgrass Creek’s status as a premier retirement community in the Kansas City region.”

A native of Kansas City, Schaffer has been an integral part of the Tallgrass Creek community for more than 11 years, serving as its director of finance. She set new standards for strong collaboration across the community’s diverse departments to support residents’ vibrant lifestyle and Tallgrass Creek’s continued growth.
