• 350th Basic Training Class graduates from Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (ku.edu) — Two new officers for the Overland Park Police Department have just graduated from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center’s 350th Basic Training Class, joining agencies statewide after 14 weeks of intensive preparation. The ceremony in Hutchinson celebrated 20 recruits, with speakers emphasizing service, community trust, and the long-term bonds formed during training.

- Has anyone else received an email supposedly from the Social Security Administration saying that there is a problem with your earnings record and telling you to use the attached link to download “SSA Windows” software onto your PC to correct it?
Although the graphics are good the sender’s address is NOT SSA .gov and the whole thing screams FRAUD to me!!! Please be careful and do not download… (Nextdoor Friends and Neighbors) - Looking for someone to pick up my leaves at a reasonable price.
