When two local youth set up a lemonade stand on the street corner, little did they know they would earn some tips from the older generation.

Residents of Morningside Place, an Anthem Memory Care community in Overland Park made a spontaneous visit with the Lemon Dudes, Lucas, age 13, and Colin, age 17, and enjoyed a refreshing summer treat along with some good conversation.

“It was a terrific way to enjoy the weather and mingle with our neighbors,” said Sara Coss, life engagement director for Morningside Place. “The residents enjoyed supporting the youth in their business venture and connecting by sharing memories of their past.”
