Tallgrass Creek Names Miranda Schmidt as Director of Human Resources

Overland Park, Kans.—February #, 2025—Tallgrass Creek, a continuing care retirement community developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, has named Miranda Schmidt as the new director of human resources. Schmidt will lead the growth of a positive workplace environment that enables the community to attract, retain, and develop the best talent to serve residents and their families at the highest level.

A Kansas City native, Schmidt brings nearly 20 years of in-depth human resources experience in the industries of agriculture, insurance and hospitality to Tallgrass Creek. She earned her bachelor's degree in communications and sociology from the University of Kansas and went on to earn her master’s degree in organizational leadership and human resources from Baker University.
