  1. Firework enthusiasts in Warren County are reminded to adhere to the county's ordinance on shooting fireworks in the coming days. The ordinance allows fireworks to be shot off from Jun. 27 to Jul. 3, between noon and 10:00 p.m., and on Jul. 4 until 11:00 p.m. Failure to comply may result in complaints from neighbors and possible intervention by law enforcement. Residents are urged to report any violations they witness. (wnky.com)
  2. Bowling Green's highly anticipated 52nd Thunderfest, featuring a spectacular fireworks display, live music, and food trucks, is set to return with thousands of attendees. The event, organized by the Kiwanis Club and held at the National Corvette Museum, aims to provide a community-oriented experience beyond the traditional festivities. Thunderfest Chairman Rob Hutcheson revealed that they are investing approximately $15,000 in fireworks and offering five hours of live music starting at 3:00 p.m. (wnky.com)
  3. A man has been arrested in Bowling Green on drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop where police detected the odor of marijuana in the vehicle. The police discovered a black mesh bag containing a significant quantity of small circular blue pills labeled "M and 30," suspected to be pressed "M-30" fentanyl pills. The passenger, Isiah Boyd, claimed ownership of the pills, estimating their total count to be around 1,000. Boyd is currently held in the Warren County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond. Musi's determination is fueled by her mission to overcome cancer while pursuing her love for racing, even though triple-negative breast cancer is an aggressive form that doesn't respond to targeted treatments.   • Bowling Green's Bourbon, Bands, & BBQ Festival is coming next month, and attendees will be able to browse a variety of bourbons.
