GM Halts 3/4-Ton and One-Ton Truck Assembly, Lays Off 6,000 Workers (motorbiscuit.com) — GM’s Bowling Green Corvette plant will shut down for about a month this winter, temporarily laying off most of its 1,100 workers but promising to bring them all back.
