- A former Warren County Regional Jail employee has been arrested for sexual conduct. He is now facing one count of third-degree sodomy and one count of first-degree official misconduct and is still under investigation. (WNKY)
- The Community Cat Program from the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society has seen success in keeping the outdoor cat population at bay. Their process involves Trap-Neuter-Release and is a long-term solution more effective than euthanasia, which had almost no impact. About 1,200 cats have already been neutered through the program and it's estimated that around 14,000 outdoor cats are in the area. (WBKO)
- The Bowling Green Police Department suggests checking your backseat before leaving your vehicle in the summer! With rising temperatures, leaving a child or a pet in a car can be a dangerous situation. Public Information Officer Ronnie Ward said he remembered a time an individual forgot their child was in the car while going to work. Accidents happen, but they can be prevented by checking the back seat. (WNKY)
