- The Humane Society is currently offering free distemper vaccines for cats and dogs while the supply lasts. Distemper can cause gastrointestinal problems by attacking the respiratory and nervous systems. Puppies will require a round of four shots while adult pets will only need one shot every 12 months. The free vaccine is being offered due to a rise in cases in the area. (WBKO 13)
- A 22-year-old Bowling Green man has been arrested after police responded to shots fired on Monday, May 8 near Yukon Court. One person sustained non-life-threatening injuries and refused EMT help but later went to the hospital. The shooter is currently being held at the Warren County Detention Center. (WNKY 40)
- Teranga Academy, located in Bowling Green, serves as a public school specifically designed to support refugee and immigrant students in adapting to life in the United States.
