  1. The Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society is facing a critical situation as they have reached maximum capacity with over 550 animals in their care, prompting a "code red" alert. The shelter is in urgent need of assistance from the community to avoid the euthanization of animals due to lack of space. In an effort to find homes for these animals, adoption fees have been reduced to $25, which includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and other necessary veterinary care. (WBKO)
  2. Police in Bowling Green are searching for 32-year-old Deandre Christian, who is wanted on multiple warrants, including one for manslaughter. Christian, who was previously arrested in connection with a fentanyl trafficking case, has not been located yet.   3. Bowling Green residents Joseph Patrick Huff and Jenifer Huff are facing multiple charges related to health care fraud and opioid abuse schemes, as U.S. Attorney Michael A. The charges include conspiracy to commit theft of medical products, unlawfully distributing controlled substances, health care fraud involving various medications, aggravated identity theft, and making false writings.
