How do you know the first responder?

He is my husband.

Tell us about the first responder and how they serve the community.

My husband James started as a volunteer Firefighter in 2010 at Russellville Rural FD. Since then he has went above and beyond to help not only the Department but the community in any way he can. He works tirelessly to help with maintenance on the trucks and Department, helping new recruits get certified, and making calls at all hours of the day and night when called. Not to mention he also holds a Full time day job at around 50-60 hours a week. At this time he has accumulated nearly 2000 hrs of Fire Department training hours and is also a part of the Logan County Rescue team. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant on our Fire department. He is always very humble about the roles he plays not only at home as a Dad of 6 (now Adult children), a very proud Grandfather, and devoted loving husband, but in the many tasks he takes on daily to provide for not only his family, but his community.

What three words best describe the first responder?
