Christian/Country artist Anne Wilson has captured hearts once again with her poignant new song, "Seventh of June." Released on the solemn occasion of the sixth anniversary of her brother's passing, this deeply personal track serves as a moving tribute, commemorating the cherished memories they shared together. With heartfelt lyrics and a soul-stirring melody, Anne Wilson's "Seventh of June" is a testament to the enduring power of love, loss, and the indomitable spirit of remembrance.

Anne shares, "Seventh of June' is a song that was written about the day that forever changed my life. The day that I lost my big brother Jacob in a tragic car accident,” shares Wilson with heartfelt vulnerability. “No matter how much time passes, this is a day that will always be so important to me. I really pray this song impacts people and reminds them that it's OK to grieve. Jesus is with us in the midst of it all!! This is for you, Jacob.”

Through her music, Anne pays homage to the incredible bond they shared, encapsulating the essence of their relationship in every heartfelt note, including revisiting her childhood home in Kentucky and filming her music video at their favorite spots.

"When I started writing songs for the first time, I knew that I wanted the songs to have a country and southern influence from Kentucky. Lexington will always hold such a special place in my heart and it's one of my favorite places in the world,” Anne said. “Whenever I get the opportunity to go back to our family farm it brings me such a sense of peace and reminds me of all the sweet times I shared there with my brother.”

Wilson's life was forever transformed by the impact of Jacob's passing, as she discovered her voice and musical mission in the days following the tragedy while delivering a heartfelt performance at his funeral. Since then, Wilson has used her God given talent to create music that resonates with millions. She went on to write and release “My Jesus,” the “deeply personal breakout ballad” (Billboard) that catapulted her to massive success, quickly being named ASCAP's 2022 Christian Music Awards Song of the Year, reaching Spotify's Viral 50, the Shazam Top 200, and Rolling Stone's Top 25 trending charts.
