Jubilee Jobs Awarded $10,000 Donation through Liberty Mutual® and Safeco Insurance®

Companies Assist REAL Insurance Agency in Giving Back to Local Communities

During COVID-19 Crisis

Lexington, KY (May 8, 2020) – Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance announce a $10,000 donation to Jubilee Jobs – nominated by Christian Moore of REAL Insurance Agency - as part of an Emergency Community Support Grant to help independent insurance agents give back to their local community during the COVID-19 crisis. The donation will go directly to Jubilee Jobs, a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding entry-level jobs for the unemployed and underemployed.

“My team and I have recognized the hard work and dedication performed by Jubilee Jobs during this pandemic and we are incredibly thankful for Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance for providing extra funds to help the community when we need it most,” said Moore with REAL Insurance Agency. “Jubilee Jobs has been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 crisis and the $10,000 donation will help them continue to make a difference to the community they serve.”

Jubilee Jobs of Lexington, “JUST Feed Lexington” (Jubilee Unites Services to Feed Lexington) meal program is an effort to help keep food service workers employed and help ease the meal burden for some of the most vulnerable during these uncertain times. Since their March 31st launch, they have delivered over 7,797 meals to 14 sheltered groups, as well as first responders. They are entering their fifth week to deliver 400 meals (200 lunch and 200 dinner) per day, five days per week to shelters in the Lexington area that house the homeless, women fleeing domestic violence, human trafficking victims, those in recovery programs and their first responders.

The $10,000 donation will continue to grow the JUST Feed Lexington program and cover the costs of 2,000 meals for those who are the most in need.

“The goal of the Emergency Community Support Grants is to help our independent agents make an immediate impact during this critical time in the local communities where they live and work,” said Alexis Holzer, Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance Independent Agent Giving Program Manager.
