LAUREL COUNTY, KY — After multiple people were injured in a shooting on Interstate 75 in Kentucky Saturday night, investigators are looking for a person of interest, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post. The agency didn't share the exact number of victims.

I-75 was closed near exit 49 and U.S. 25, which is about nine miles north of London, because of the active shooter situation earlier Saturday evening, the sheriff’s office wrote.

The interstate is closed from exit 41 to exit 59, WYMT reported.

The sheriff's office is looking for Joseph A. Couch, who is considered armed and dangerous.
