Lexington man accused of sending lewd pictures of woman to her coworker, stealing phone (fox56news.com) — Lexington police arrested a 24-year-old man they say shared explicit images of a woman without her consent and later sold a stolen phone tied to a local theft. Court records detail how images were sent to her coworkers and how investigators tracked the phone to an ATM near Richmond Road, leading to charges and a $5,000 bond.
   

2. Kentucky man allegedly shoots gun near woman's head (wowktv.com) — Lexington police arrested an 18-year-old after gunshots were fired near a woman’s head along East High Street early Tuesday, though no injuries or property damage were reported. Officers say the suspect, who admitted drinking and had a reportedly stolen gun, faces multiple charges and remains held on a cash bond while the investigation continues.
   

3. Lexington police seek help after porch pirate caught on video (fox56news.com) — Lexington police are asking for the public’s help after a man allegedly stole multiple packages from a home on Elizabeth Street, loading them into a red pizza-style warmer and leaving in a gray SUV. The late-night theft happened Nov. 27, and investigators have released a description of the suspect and ways to share anonymous tips with Bluegrass Crime Stoppers.
   

4. Rise STEM Academy for Girls families share concerns during community session (wkyt.com) — Families at Lexington’s Rise STEM Academy for Girls are pushing back on a proposal to move the George Washington Carver STEM Academy for Boys into their building as part of a district cost-saving plan. At a community meeting hosted by Superintendent Demetrus Liggins, parents questioned late notice, past program changes, and how sharing space might affect girls’ confidence, with more sessions scheduled next week.
   

5. UK's Wildcat Battalion march 1.5 miles with donations for Ronald McDonald House in Lexington (fox56news.com) — More than 100 UK Army ROTC cadets marched 1.5 miles through Lexington at dawn, hauling rucksacks full of donations for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass. Their “Ruck for Ronald” restocked food and toiletries, helping families stay close to children receiving medical care in Lexington during the holidays.
