A new partnership with Lexington’s Frederick Douglass High School received a lot of attention. Announced in October, graduates of Douglass’ biomedical science program are the newest students eligible to receive a minimum $20,000 per year scholarship to attend Transylvania University.
Dr. Falguni Amin-Zimmerman, J. Todd Clark and Dr. Charisse Gillett joined Transylvania University’s Board of Trustees. Amin-Zimmerman and Clark are alumni who previously served on the university’s Board of Regents. Gillett is a pioneer in her own right, whose tenure at Transy more than a decade ago is still felt in the programs she once administered.
