Louisville – Metro Council will hold a special Committee of the Whole meeting on Monday, March 14, to interview eligible District 1 applicants.

Louisville – Metro Council will hold a special Committee of the Whole meeting on Monday, March 14, to interview eligible District 1 applicants.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will start at 4:00 p.m. in Chambers at Historic City Hall, 601 West Jefferson Street. Under KRS 61.826, some members will be video conferencing using WebEx.

Former Councilwoman Jessica Green (D-1) resigned on February 17. According to Metro Council Rules, the vacant seat must be filled within 30 days.

Each candidate will have the option to attend the interview virtually or in person. Applicants will be interviewed in random order determined by a drawing. Each person will have three minutes for an introduction, then Council will have 10 minutes to ask questions, and finally there will be one minute for candidates to make final comments.
