She’s emphasizing youth-focused prevention, mental health support, and neighborhood investment as the city builds long-term public safety changes that residents should expect to see continue into 2026.
   

• Louisville Cemetery Improvement Association pushes for answers after months of no maintenance (wave3.com) — Families in Louisville are organizing after months of little to no maintenance at Louisville Cemetery on Poplar Level Road, where some graves have become overgrown or hard to find. A new Louisville Cemetery Improvement Association is seeking legal guidance, nonprofit status, and help from officials as they push for answers from the private owners.
   

• Regina Everette, 67, of Princeton (wpkyonline.com) — A longtime educator with close family ties to Louisville has passed away at Baptist Health Louisville at age 67. Regina N. Everette’s children and grandchildren in Louisville and across Kentucky will gather in Princeton on December 27 for visitation and services celebrating her decades of teaching and deep devotion to family and animals.
