“GLI applauds the Metro Council’s planning and zoning committee for its passage of legislation to make needed changes to Louisville’s childcare zoning regulations. This ordinance will expand the options for where childcare can be located, making it so providers can be closer to where families work and live. During this critical shortage of childcare providers, it has never been more important to provide increased resources and options to get caretakers back in the workforce. We encourage Metro Council to quickly pass this timely and critical ordinance.”
