Jurors Selected in Norwood Trial

Opening statements to begin at noon

Update, 12:00 p.m.: Six women and six men make up the jury that will hear the case of Brittany Norwood, who is accused of killing her Lulelemon co-worker in March.

Three male and two female alternate jurors were also seated on the jury panel this morning.

Opening statements are expected to start shortly before noon today.

Original Post, 5:50 a.m.: The jury pool was reduced from around 300 potential jurors to 65 Tuesday. 

Tuesday Montgomery County Circuit Court Judge Robert A. Greenberg . Only one of three autopsy photos will be allowed to be shown during opening statements by Montgomery County State's Attorney John McCarthy. Norwood’s defense team objected to McCarthy using the photos, arguing that they would taint the jury’s ability to fairly hear the rest of the case.
