Nando's Offering Free Chicken To Federal Workers On March 7

Nando's PERi PERi is serving up free food to federal workers in honor of National Employee Appreciation Day.

MARYLAND — Nando’s PERi PERi is offering a free meal to all federal workers on Friday in honor of National Employee Appreciation Day.

According to an announcement on Nando's website, the eatery plans to "appreciate the unappreciated" by offering federal workers in the Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. area a free quarter-chicken and chips.

The promotion applies to current or recently laid-off workers and is valid Friday from 2-5 p.m. for dine-in and takeout orders.

"Simply show us your federal ID or proof of termination," Nando's said on its website. "No five bullet-point emails required."
