Urban Outfitters Unveils Newest Store Concept In MoCo

BETHESDA, MD — Urban Outfitters opened a new store at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda on Jan. 10, featuring the company’s latest design. The company said the new look was built to better connect with customers and reflect how they shop today.

As the third location to open in this format, the store in Westfield Montgomery Mall, 7101 Democracy Blvd., builds on momentum established in Houston and Glendale.

Shoppers can find the revamped store on the first level going into the Montgomery Mall entrance near Nordstrom, and across from the Lego store and in between Kickz and Calzedonia.

The Urban Outfitters’ new space includes a brighter, more modern retail environment, with market-attuned merchandising, and flexible layouts designed to evolve with trends and seasonal moments, a news release said.

Design highlights include dedicated beauty and accessories moments, elevated presentations of Urban Outfitter-owned brands such as BDG denim and Out From Under, refreshed fitting rooms, and modular fixtures that support a tailored shopping experience.
