60-Year-Old Man Driving Scooter Killed In Crash With Vehicle

A 60-year-old Washington, D.C., man died after his scooter collided with a vehicle in Brentwood. The crash is being investigated, police say

BRENTWOOD, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal collision involving a scooter that happened Tuesday night.

On April 15 around 6:10 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 4500 block of Rhode Island Avenue for a report of a collision involving a scooter and a vehicle. They found 60-year-old Jerome Marshall of Washington, D.C., with injuries. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. The driver involved in the crash was uninjured, according to the police department.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the scooter and vehicle collided in the northbound lanes of Rhode Island Avenue. The case is being investigated. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call detectives at 301-731-4422.
