Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett is seeking applicants to fill one vacancy on the Upcounty Citizens Advisory Board. The 20-member board advises county officials on the needs and priorities of northern Montgomery County. The deadline for application is Aug. 28. Details are available at the county’s website.

Forum | County to host health care forum in Germantown
Residents interested in learning more about the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) are invited to attend any one of a series of community forums sponsored by the Montgomery CountyRegional Service Centers and the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services that will be held in August and September.

Germantown’s forum is 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, August 22 at the Upcounty Regional Center, 12900 Middlebrook Road.
