School Bus With Kids On Board Crashes In Germantown

GERMANTOWN, MD — A child was transported to the hospital after a school bus crashed with a car in Germantown Wednesday morning, officials said.

The crash occurred at about 9:30 a.m. at 18910 Germantown Rd., Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service Pete Piringer said.

No school bus passengers were injured, but one child riding in the car was transported by EMS for an evaluation and a check-up, Piringer said.

Some lanes are blocked in the area, Piringer said.
