$10K Lottery Winner Played In Randallstown

Someone who played the lottery at a Randallstown store won more than $10,000 Saturday, according to the Maryland Lottery.

RANDALLSTOWN, MD — A convenience store in Randallstown sold a lottery ticket worth more than $10,000 over the weekend.

The winner played RACETRAX, which is a computer-animated horse racing game, at the 7-Eleven at 9100 Liberty Road in Randallstown.

Authorities said the $10,300.60 ticket was sold Oct. 30 and had been claimed by Monday, Nov. 1.

Across Maryland, officials say 29 players won or claimed prizes of at least $10,000 for the week ending Oct. 31.

Topping the list was a $2 million scratch-off winner in Salisbury, lottery officials reported. It was the 65-year-old Wicomico County's second time claiming that big a prize in the last several years, according to the Maryland Lottery.

A $200,000 Powerball ticket was also sold Oct. 27 in Rockville that has yet to be claimed.
