Franklin High School Assault: Police Say 1 Injured, 1 Arrested

Officials say one person was hospitalized and another was in custody after an incident at Franklin High School.

REISTERSTOWN, MD — Two people were involved in an altercation that drew police to Franklin High School Thursday morning, according to police.

After 9:30 a.m., police said one person was in custody.

Another person had been taken to a local medical facility, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

An assault between two students occurred in the locker room, resulting in one student being airlifted to the hospital, the principal said in a letter obtained by WBAL, which stated that no weapons were involved.

The school day was expected to proceed as usual, according to the TV station.

The altercation occurred before 9 a.m., WBFF reported.
