Armed With Hammer, Man Robs Joppa Area Sex Shop

Police responded to the Love Craft store on Pulaski Highway, south of the Harford County line and north of White Marsh, Saturday evening.

Police say a man armed with a hammer robbed a sex shop in the Joppa area Saturday evening. 

At about 6:17 p.m., in the 12000 block of Pulaski Highway, a man entered the Love Craft store, threatened workers with a hammer and stole some property. No one was injured during the robbery, according to Baltimore County police. 

No description of the suspect or property stolen was immediately available.

As of 8 p.m., the investigation into the robbery was ongoing, police said. 

The Joppa community is almost entirely included in Harford County, although a small portion is included in Baltimore County. The store's location is in Baltimore County, north of White Marsh and Kingsville.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office confirmed that they were working with Baltimore County in investigating the robbery. 

Love Craft is a Baltimore metro area chain that sells pornography, lingerie and sex toys.
