Union Head Throws Marks Some Love
Councilman called "a labor-friendly Republican" for his vote Monday on a controversial pension bill.

Councilman David Marks is getting a tip of the hat from an unlikely place for a Republican.
John Ripley, president of the Baltimore County Federation of Public Employees, threw a little love toward Marks, a Perry Hall resident.
"Councilman Marks has proven himself recently to be a labor-friendly Republican," said Ripley.

"I'm not sure he wants that title or not, but he certainly has been on our issues," he continued.
Marks was one of four council members who voted to Monday night.

Todd Huff, a Timonium resident and the only other Republican on the council, voted against tabling the bill.
