Fatal Shooting Claims 20-Year-Old Man, Reward Increased: Baltimore County Police

A 20-year-old man was fatally shot in a Dundalk neighborhood, police said. The reward for tips was increased as detectives investigate.

DUNDALK, MD — A man was fatally shot this week in Dundalk, police announced Tuesday.

Officers identified the victim as 20-year-old Jamel Nation.

Authorities said they were called Monday around 10 p.m. to the 7700 block of Gough Street. That's located in the Colgate community.

Police said they found the victim outside with multiple gunshot wounds.

Medics pronounced him dead on the scene, officers said.

The Baltimore County Police Department asked anybody with information to call 410-887-3943. Callers can stay anonymous. Tipsters can also submit information through the county's iWATCH program at iwatch.baltimorecountymd.gov.

The Metro Crime Stoppers, an independent investigator, is also collecting anonymous tips and sharing them with officers. The Metro Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward of up to $8,000, which is up from the usual $2,000, for information that leads to a conviction on felony charges.
