Former WBAL-TV Anchor Confronts Stalker In Court, Suspect To Get Treatment: Report

A past WBAL anchor confronted her stalker in Baltimore County court. A report said the Belcamp suspect will get behavioral health treatment.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Former WBAL-TV news anchor Theodosha Hayes confronted her stalker Friday in Baltimore County Circuit Court, The Baltimore Banner reported.

The Banner said Hayes accused Belcamp man Eugene Dixon, 57, of sending her unsolicited pictures of male genitals and threatening sexual violence against her and her daughter starting in 2023. Hayes said Dixon — who she described as her Christian mentor — used burner phones and fake email addresses to hide his identity during the eight months of stalking, The Banner reported.

The Banner said Judge Stacy A. Mayer delayed sentencing until later this week, planning for Dixon to be released from the Baltimore County Detention Center to a behavioral health treatment program.
