Pedestrian Dies After Crash Near Avenue At White Marsh
Police said a pedestrian hit earlier this week in Nottingham has died.
NOTTINGHAM, MD — A Joppa man died after a crash in Nottingham this week, according to police.
Jeffrey Chmielewski, 30, of Brookwood Drive, had been walking on Town Center Drive when he was hit by a car, police said.
The 2012 Chevrolet Malibu hit Chmielewski as he was trying to cross the road after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20, police said. He was not in the crosswalk, according to authorities.

Police said Chmielewski succumbed to his injuries Thursday, Oct. 21.
Investigators are working to determine the factors in the deadly crash, police reported Friday.
