Man Charged in White Marsh Five Guys Armed Robbery
Police say three men schemed to rob the restaurant on Dec. 15. So far, one has been arrested.
One man has been arrested and police expect to arrest two more in connection with the armed robbery of a Five Guys Burgers and Fries restaurant in the 5200 block of Campbell Boulevard in White Marsh.
At about 12:39 a.m. on Dec. 15, after the business had closed, a worker opened the rear door to the restaurant for a man identified by police as 28-year-old Christopher Griggs, a Joppa resident.
According to a police report, Griggs, armed with a revolver, forced the worker who allowed him inside and a second worker to the floor. A third worker ran out of the restaurant and called 911.

Griggs stole more than $2,200 from the cash register, according to police, and was arrested as he attempted to leave the store.
Investigators believe that the worker who allowed Griggs inside the store helped to plan the robbery. Police also believe another man planned to drive away from the location with Griggs. Their names have not yet been released as the investigation is ongoing. Neither man has been arrested yet.
