7-Eleven Customer Robbed By Armed Man, Surveillance Video Shared
A man using an ATM in a Rockville 7-Eleven store was assaulted and had his cash stolen. Police have released video of the suspected robber.
ROCKVILLE, MD — Surveillance video released by Montgomery County police shows a suspect in a Sept. 3 strong-arm robbery at a 7-Eleven in the 11500 block of Rockville Pike. (See video below.)
The suspect entered the store about 12:47 p.m. and assaulted a male victim who was withdrawing money from an ATM. The suspect then fled with the cash, police said in a news release.
Detectives reviewed surveillance video from the store and obtained a description of the suspect. He is described as a Black man in his 30s, with a slim build, black hair, wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers.
