City Offers Free Help With Tax Prep
Residents making less than $50K can qualify.

Tax day is less than three weeks away.
Rockville residents earning less than $50,000 a year are eligible for free help preparing their state and federal tax returns.
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program offers tax preparation appointments from 3 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays at the City of Rockville's Community Services Division office, at 30 Courthouse Square.

Walk-ins will be welcome from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 7 at the Twinbrook Community Recreation Center, 12920 Twinbrook Parkway.
To receive free preparation assistance, you must live in Montgomery County and present a W-2 and/or 1099 form showing that you earned less than $50,000 in 2011.

Taxpayers searching for answers about the filing process can at noon on Monday. Residents can also submit questions ahead of time.
This year's tax filing deadline is April 17.
