Police Investigate Sex Assault At Rockville Grocery Store

ROCKVILLE, MD — Police are searching for a man who allegedly touched a woman inappropriately in a grocery store parking lot in Rockville.

The woman told police she was at the Harris Teeter at 12525 Park Potomac Ave. and noticed a man following her as she shopped.

She exited the store and began to place groceries in her car when "the suspect approached her from behind and touched her inappropriately," Montgomery County Police said.

The woman confronted the suspect and he left the area on foot.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or who has information about this incident is asked to contact the 1st District Investigative Section at 240-773-6084.
