Tequila Modern Mexican Opens New Location In Rockville
Tequila Modern Mexican opened on Sept. 9 at 11 N. Washington St. The eatery features traditional Mexican fare and a variety of cocktails.
ROCKVILLE, MD — Tequila Modern Mexican, a restaurant known for its traditional Mexican fare and 100 kinds of tequila, has opened a third location in Rockville, the company announced on social media.
Located at 11 N. Washington St. across from Courthouse Center, Tequila Modern Mexican opened on Sept. 9. The eatery is operated by Jose Reyes, who owns two other Tequila Modern Mexican locations in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
“We’re very excited,” Reyes told MoCo360. “We hope that the community loves what we are bringing to them. None of this would be possible without the support of the community.”

Tequila Modern Mexican offers a full dinner menu that includes burritos, enchiladas, fajitas and other specialties like quesabirria, huevos rancheros, fish tacos, and tamales. The drink menu features a variety of cocktails and spirits including margarita flights, mojitos and cheladas.
The Rockville location is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.
